Comprehensive Representation
Selling a business is a process not an event … helping business owners realize their objectives from the sale of a company is a complex process that requires specialized skill, knowledge, judgment and resources. We at Mary Knoll Capital Partners possess decades of middle-market M&A experience and are personally involved in every aspect of every transaction.
Our process starts with a detailed valuation to determine how much a business is worth and identify potential market opportunities. We will work with you to objectively analyze both strengths and potential weaknesses.
Once this step is complete and a client decides to proceed with a potential sale, we will begin the tactical M&A process to bring our new client to market.
Marketing
The first task is to develop a tailored, comprehensive Information Memorandum and a one-page confidential summary called Précis. We then will develop a targeted list of buyers using our extensive contacts, client contacts, and databases of strategic and financial acquirers in targeted geographic markets and/or industry segments. The Précis will be communicated and Non Disclosure Agreements executed with all interested parties. Each response will be qualified and discussed with our Clients to insure a "customized" approach to every prospect.
Execution
We will help Clients evaluate terms and conditions of each offer through the development of an interactive financial comparison model. Offers, deal structure, and financing options will be compared to make certain Client strategic and financial objectives are met. Once a Letter of Intent is signed, will work with our Client's financial and legal advisors through due diligence until consummation of a transaction.
