David Byerley, Managing Partner

As Managing Partner and Founder of Mary Knoll Capital Partners, Dave takes a "hands-on" approach, maneuvering clients through the intricacies of acquisitions and divestitures. No matter how many phases or people are involved in the process, Dave is present at every step, from start to finish.

Prior to founding Mary Knoll Capital Partners, Dave was the head of Corporate Development for  Source Corp (SRCP: Nasdaq) where he completed over fifty corporate acquisitions and divestitures within the technology, business process outsourcing, and healthcare services sectors.  In his early career, Dave was Executive Vice President of Business Imaging and Corporate Vice President of IKON Office Solutions, and Senior Vice President of Affiliated Computer Services’ outsourced document management division.  In total, Mr. Byerley is responsible for the closing of over $1 billion in transaction value. 

Since founding Mary Knoll Capital Partners, Dave has focused on representing select clients in business process and reverse logistics outsourcing, healthcare information services, and technology.  While clients include both public and private companies, Dave offers the greatest value to entrepreneurial firms between $10 and $50 million; projects that often require creativity and detailed evaluation of strategic options ranging from recapitalization to outright sale. 

Dave’s educational background includes an undergraduate degree from Dickinson College as well as Master’s and J.D. degrees from Temple University.  In addition, Dave is a licensed attorney in the State of Pennsylvania.  Dave is married to his wife of sixteen years, Margaret, and has four children.  Aside from helping clients, Dave is actively involved in Little League programs and other youth development programs.
